CO-PARENTING 101 COURSE IN-PERSON

Co-Parenting 101 is a 2-hour informational course designed to give you the tools to help your child/ren successfully navigate the family transition of divorce or separation. Check out our class schedule page for more details.

You don't have to struggle alone. We can help.

Co-parenting classes from Child & Family Advocates show families how to create a foundation of parenting that benefits both parents and children.

By exploring the grief cycle of relationships, creating a creative plan for physical custody of your children, and putting your children's best interests in future decisions, stronger families are created.

Our proven strategies can create stronger families.

You owe it to yourself; you owe it to your children.

Our Mission

Child and Family Advocates, Inc. envisions a world where all children and families have the resources and support, at the micro, mezzo and macro levels, in order to thrive and be healthy.
Our Mission Statement: Child & Family Advocates strengthens families through high-quality counseling, education, and advocacy while advancing the field with professional support, innovation, and systemic change.

All families have conflict, but family conflict can hurt children  if that conflict is dysfunctional and sustained at at high level. It can negatively affect a child's development, break meaningful attachments to parents, and put them at higher risk for risky behaviors later in life. Child & Family Advocates, Inc. is a not-for-profit (IRS recognized 501c3) organization serving the Southern Indiana and Kentucky Area. We provide Co-Parenting Education Classes, individual Co-Parenting Counseling and groups for children experiencing a parents separation and/or divorce. These classes (both in-person and online) and child support groups are currently free of charge for a limited number of residents of Region 18 (Scott, Washington, Clark, Floyd and Harrison counties in Indiana) thanks to grant funding.
