Child & Family Services, Inc. is a not-for-profit 501c3 whose mission is to provide high quality education, counseling and advocacy services to children and families in an effort to promote healthy family functioning.
Our programs include:
• Co-Parenting 101 In-Person and Online Courses designed to give parents the tools to help their children navigate a changing family dynamic
• Child Support Groups to help children learn to thrive while living in two homes
Services are provided by two Scott County natives who want to give back to the community. Shannon Mount and Holly Asdell are clinical social workers with over 25 years experience.
Shannon is a graduate of University of Louisville Kent School of Social Work (PhD) and the IUPUI School of Social Work (MSW). Her dissertation research area includes parental conflict, the associated risk factors, and methods to prevent & intervene in parental conflict situations. She has over 20 years of post graduate experience working in home based social work, private therapy, school based social work, social work administration, and teaching. Shannon is also a Domestic Relations Mediator in the state of Indiana.
Holly is a graduate of the University of Louisville Kent School of Social Work (MSSW). She has over 15 years of experience working with families as a DCS caseworker, private therapist, a medical social worker and a school social worker. Holly is also a Domestic Relations Mediator in the state of Indiana.
